Neighbourhood Pod Project
What is a Pod?
A neighbourhood Pod is a specific geographical area that includes all of the households and resources within that particular area. Members within a Pod have responsibilities to each other as well as to other Pods in the region.
Within each Pod there is a designated leader or leaders. Pod leaders are responsible for communication with members of their Pod and with governmental and non-governmental organizations if necessary during an emergency situation.
They will communicate information regarding:
- upcoming meetings or events,
- all emergency situations within their Pod area.
