Cellular Service Sign Project
About this Project
In emergency situations, knowing where you can get cellular coverage is critical. Although community members are familiar with where they can get coverage, most emergency responders, fire fighters, tourists and people visiting for work are unfamiliar with these limited areas.
With this in mind, in the spring of 2020, CERS surveyed the area and created a map documenting cellular service areas in the region. Road signs have also been installed to help spread this important emergency preparedness information.
The map below covers most of the main roads in Electoral Area E.
